Discover a less-known but gorgeous part of Morocco settled between the High Atlas and anti-Atlas. Begin this colourful journey from Agadir ascending the Souss valley and upward to Ouarzazate at the edge of the High Atlas. Then carry on from that stage down to visit the great lush Daraa valley and the 200km long stretch of oases before getting lost in the impressive natural wonder of Dades and Todgha Gorges. Then end the tour with a drive along the High Atlas towards the ochre city of Marrakech, from which you will embark on a trip to cover yet another little gem of the city Essaouira on the Atlantic coast.

Your Itininary
Day 1: AGADIR

Once you arrive at Agadir airport, meet our team and you will be carried to your hotel to have a welcome dinner.

Day 2: AGADIR

This morning will be set for a guided visit of Agadir city. Explore the port, the first sardine fishing in Morocco, then to Kasbah which towers over the whole city, and its ramparts still stand the test of time after the 60s earthquake. Carry on facing a panoramic view of the modern part of the town looking at the wide avenues dotted with coffee shops, and restaurants. Then turn to the local commercial hub Inzegane with the largest souk in the Souss region. Back to Agadir for lunch and a free evening.

Day 3: AGADIR – TAROUDANT - OUARZAZATE

Hit the road today to the doorway of the grand south of Morocco through the great plain of the Souss and the historical city Taroudant where you will stop for a visit of its ancient ocher-coloured high ramparts, and souks where the brilliant work of craftsmen I on display. Next, head to Ouarzazate for lunch, and use the afternoon for a tour in the city and explore the former palace of the Pacha Galoui family, the famous Kasbah Taourirt then turn to Ait Benhaddou for a stroll.

Day 4: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA - OUARZAZATE

Today, make the journey via Daraa valley, an expansive palm grove in the south, the largest of its kind in Morocco. Then break with lunch in Zagora then down to the once spiritual centre Tamegroute that still preserves a library of medieval manuscripts. After that, take the route to the dunes of Tinfu, before going back to Ouarzazate via the lush Daraa valley.

Day 5: OUARZAZATE – TINGHIR - OUARZAZATE

Leave Ouarzazate behind for a trip to Tinghir throughout the exciting thousand Kasbahs` road which runs along the Dades Valley. Have time at leisure visiting the palm grove of Tinghir and then to the high impressive cliffs of Todgha Gorges. Savour a local lunch and free time then we head back to Ouarzazate

Day 6: OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

Today hit the road through the High Atlas Mountains passing through the famous Tichka pass, the highest in North Africa (2260m). Once you arrive, rest with lunch in Marrakech, the imperial capital founded in 1062. In the afternoon, go see the Menara gardens, the majestic 12th century Koutoubia minaret, the Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace. Then get lost under the skin of the old medina and its souks and the world-famous Jamaa El Fna Square, the lifeblood of the city with its constant thrilling shows.

Day 7: MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA - AGADIR

This morning, go for an exciting smooth trip to Essaouira, a once was seized by the Portuguese, but a French architect left the charming town with its white and blue architecture all over the medina for Sultan ben Abdellah during the 18th century. Go rub shoulders with fishermen in the port and check out the Skala for a view from the bronze cannons. You will admire the cool chilled out atmosphere all over the white houses, sidewalk cafes, calm square, various craftsmanship (from Tuya to wood marquetry), and of course its hearty fish meals. Its medina is something else, with the simple alleys where locals, tourists, and artists from all walks of life mingle. After you enjoyed your lunch, carry on to Agadir.

Day 8: DEPARTURE

Your departure airport transfer will be there for you, assistance is guaranteed until you board the flight back home. If you can still spare a few days in Agadir, you can always extend your stay.

How will we pay for this tour?

While you are making the booking, we request that you pay a 30% deposit of the total payment either by credit card, PayPal or a bank transfer. The remaining balance is to be paid on site only in cash. If you prefer to pay the total amount by credit card, PayPal or a bank transfer, you have to do so one month before your arrival in Morocco.

What type of luggage should we bring for this tour?
