Your Itininary
Day 1: MARRAKECH- OULED DRISS
Today, travel across the great high Atlas Mountain, down to Ouarzazate and Daraa valley then through Zagora and end up in Ouled Driss. Feast on a dinner and have your first overnight in a desert camp closer to M`hamid.
Day 2: OULED DRISS - KRAYAAT JMAL
Leave Ouled Driss and make your way through Daraa valley on the outskirt of the Sahara where you have a long walk over the desert plain. Afterwards, reach Krayaat Jmal dunes where you will surely admire the stunning sunset before settling for your first in your desert camp.
Day 3: KRAYAAT JMAL – ERG KHNATA
Carry forward your caravan journey following the camels` pace while crossing Hamada dotted with tamarisks trees before you land up at Ouad Naam middled by desert dunes. Continue in the afternoon for a few hours walking to Erg Khnata. Have some free time at leisure playing on the dunes and pause for yet another beautiful sunset view and rest in your camp for a second night.
Day 4: ERG KHNATA – OULED DRISS
Depart from Erg Khnata on your feet via Drâa Hamada, a vast expanse of rocky desert flecked with volcanic stones. Later in the afternoon, hit the road back to Ouled Driss, recharge and shower at our camp.
Day 5: OULED DRISS – MARRAKECH
Enjoy your last trip back to Marrakech, on the way, have a break at the once religious centre, Tamgroute city with its ancient university for Islamic lessons whose library contains some priceless Medieval manuscripts. Then have lunch on the road and reach Marrakech later in the afternoon.
