Your Itininary
Day 1: MARRAKECH
After you arrive at Marrakech airport, meet our team and you will be carried to your hotel to have a welcome dinner.
Day 2: MARRAKECH – OULAD DRISS
Begin the Atlas drive via the highest mountain pass in Morocco Tizi N`Tichka (2250m) down through Daraa valley to the desert, where you will have a marvellous night in Ouled Driss desert camp, a few kilometres away from M`hamid.
Day 3: OULAD DRISS- KRAYAAT JMAL
Leave Ouled Driss and hit the road descending to Daraa valley on the frontier of the desert. Then drive on a rocky dried-out desert plateau to make it to the dunes of Krayaat Jmal where you will camp like a true nomad. Spare some time to contemplate the sunset before you spend the first night in a true desert.
Day 4: KRAYAAT JMAL-ERG KHNATA
Your caravan desert journey carries on following the steady pace of the camels. You pass over Hamada with tamarisks sprinkled all around the desert area before you end up among the beautiful dunes of Ouad Naam (the valley of ostriches). Later in the afternoon, keep on walking to Erg Khnata dunes. Have some leisure time for an amazing moment facing the sunset. Add this second night in a desert camp to your adventure.
Day 5: ERG KHNATA-OULED DRISS
Head out from Erg Khnata and follow your curious feet though Hamada of Daraa, a very wide rocky desert and valley dotted with volcanic stones all over the plateau. Late in the afternoon, back to Ouled Driss to relax after the day`s hike, have a shoer and night in the camp.
Day 6: OULAD DRISS - MARRAKECH
En the atlas route returning to Marrakech, have a break in Tamgroute before the town of Zagora. Back in the days, Tamgroute was a spiritual Sofi Islamic centre and a university where some priceless medieval manuscripts were still exposed within its walls. Also, you will have the chance to see unique greenish pottery made in local traditional works2hops.
Day 7: MARRAKECH
Today is a free day at leisure in the city of Marrakech, why not head to Marrakech to stroll in the shaded medina alleys and explore Souks at the heart of town.
Day 8: DEPARTURE
Departure transfer will be arranged according to your flight time, and assistance is guaranteed until you board the flight back home.
