29-12-2022: MARRAKECH
After arriving at Marrakech airport, meet our team and you will be carried to your hotel to have a welcome dinner.
30-12-2022: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE
This morning, make the journey through the highest mountain pass `Tizi n Tichka -2260 above sea level throughout ever-changing scenery down to Ouarzazate. Before heading to the city centre, we make a left turn towards the village of Ait Benhaddou, where you will stroll in the alleys of this true striking Kasbah, in fact, this place was classified by the Unesco as a universal heritage site.
31-12-2022: OUARZAZATE – DARAA VALLEY – M`HMAID – ERG LIHOUDI
This morning, leave Ouarzazate towards Agdz. Then carry on to Zagora where you break the drive with a typical lunch. In the afternoon, resume to M`hamid from which you will begin riding your camel for 2 hours to reach Erg Lihoudi desert camp (if you don`t like to use camels then 4x4 will be there for you). Encounter locals over a welcoming tea. Catch the beautiful sunset behind the great dunes. For the night, celebrate the new year with a Berber musical evening with dancing, folklore music and a delightful dinner for dinner. Spend the night in your camp.
01-01-2023: ERG LIHOUDI – AGDZ - MARRAKECH
Wake up to an amazing view of sunset rising from the dunes before you enjoy your breakfast and make your way through Tagounite palm groves, the cities of Ouarzazate and Zagora up via Tichka pass down to Marrakech later in the afternoon.
02-01-2023: MARRAKECH
Your departure transfer to the airport will be arranged according to your flight time, assistance is guaranteed until you board the flight. If you wish to spend more time, then you can always extend your stay in Marrakech.
