Your Itininary
Day 1: OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – TODGHA GORGES
Today, you will have some time to stroll in the city centre along with a visit of Kasbah Taourirte. Afterwards, hit the road towards the beautiful Dades gorges crossing the valley of roses. Break the drive with a lunch beneath the gorges before strolling around the riverbed. In the afternoon, carry on to the impressive high Todgha Gorges, the best spot for a walk, have the rest of the day at leisure, feast on locally made dinner and an overnight in a hotel within the gorges or in Tinghir province.
Day 2: TODGHA GORGES – ERFOUD - MERZOUGA
Hop in your 4x4 and set off for a morning venture to Merzouga through the pass of Tafilalet valley before stopping for lunch in Erfoud then end the day in the dunes of Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride for 1h30 to the summit of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, then tuck in a local dinner and relax for the night in a desert camp.
Day 3: MERZOUGA – NKOB - ZAGORA
After enjoying breakfast, get back in the 4x4 and resume to Zagora via the Daraa Valley, Tazzarine, stop for a break and lunch in Nkob until you make it to Zagora in the afternoon with enough time to visit this desert city, have a delightful dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Day 4: ZAGORA- M`HAMID – ERG CHEGAGA
Wake up with a nice breakfast, and then onboard a 4x4, you set off to visit some pottery workshops and the Koranic library in Tamegroute. Afterwards, carry on to M`hamid, where you jump on your camel for a ride before you are down for lunch in an authentic hotel. In the afternoon, depart for Chegag dunes and travel for around 60km within the dunes. Enjoy an overnight and dinner in a desert camp.
Day 5: ERG CHEGAGA – FOUM ZGUID - OUARZAZATE
In the middle of the desert, you will savour a breakfast before you hit the road in 4x4 through desert dunes. Break with lunch in a village after the desert of Foum Zguid. Carry on through Taznakht to Ouarzazate in the late afternoon.
