Head straight for Erg Chegaga, with the greatest dunes that read till 300m in height and 40km in length, the voyage will start off from M`hamid in the seats of 4x4. You will travel across a breathtaking landscape made of partly palm groves and oases stretched out all over the region and partly much diverse natural elements along the journey up until the sacred oasis. In this exact spot, you will be amazed to see deserted land home to a few palm trees middled with an all year flowing river where you will have a picnic. Surely, you will be captivated by the charming features of this wild exotic spot before even seeing the dunes of Erg Chegaga. Once you are in the desert, walk on the cool dunes or pick a camel for a nomadic ride, spare some time to stop and stare at the marvellous sunset, then try out some local food, and spend a serene night in camp sleeping in comfortable beds.

Your Itininary
Day 1: FROM M`HAMID ON CAMELS – SACRED OASIS – ERG CHEGAG DUNES
Hop on your camel and make your way through 10km of simple dunes along with 2 hours of walking. Enjoy lunch under the shades of a tamarisk tree. Then, a 4x4 comes along around 3 pm, you jump in your seat with your luggage in the trunk and set off on your desert adventure all over large dunes and amazing landscapes until you end up in the sacred oasis. Stroll in the shades of the few palm trees sided by following chilly rivers flowing all over the year. Go for another 15km to reach the stunning grand dunes of Erg Chegaga, look in awe at the 300m high and 40km long dunes while the sun is setting in slow motion. Tuck in dinner and have a peaceful night in your tent under a canopy of stars.
Day 2: ERG CHEGAG DUNES – M`HAMID
Once you enjoy your local breakfast in the middle of the desert, then head back to M`hamid in 4x4 on a 60km journey. Arrive around 11:30.
