Your Itininary
Day 1: OUARZAZATE – ZAGORA – M`HAMID – CAMP IN ERG CHEGAGA
Early around 08:00, get ready for a journey from Ouarzazate to Zagora all through Daraa Valley then lunch in Zagora, next we carry on to Tamegroute where you have the time to visit a local workshop of the unique green pottery and meet the skilled craftsmen. Afterwards, we continue to the expansive palm groves of Tagounite before reaching M`hamid down through the old caravan path passing by the sacred oasis to the marvellous dunes of Chegaga. Make some personal time to stare at the sunset, then go try out some local meals for dinner, and stretch in your tent for the night in the middle of the desert.
Day 2: ERG CHEGAGA – LAC IRIKI – FOUM ZGUID - OUARZAZATE
Feast on a hearty breakfast in the middle of the desert and head off onboard 4×4 to ride across a 90 km further down the desert passing by Iriki lake. Break the venture with a lunch in the first village along the journey after the Foum Zguid desert. In the afternoon, carry on to Ouarzazate through Taznakht. Arrive late afternoon.
